I'm playing the Great Game Aurieleteer with Raphael in Till Human Voices Wake Us.

I'm doing a "casual re-read" of Wheel of Time, and only just hit the Winternight chapter of Eye of the World. I can't read House of Leaves every day - it overwhelms my brain. WoT is the perfect "comfort food" complement.

I'm in the Risen Kingdoms with A Labyrinth of Scions and Sorcery.

Finished my "fantasy bingo" for the year WAY earlier than usual, so I'm freed up to read anything I want, and I'm way late diving back into this series after loving book 1 several years ago now.

I'm back to the Scholomance for senior year in The Last Graduate.

I'm in a City of Stairs.

Finished House of Leaves, which is a post-modern horror book about a guy who finds and annotates a book about a movie about a mysterious house. I really don't know what to think about it. It gets 10/10 for creativity, but goes over the top with post-modern pretentiousness (there are over 400 footnotes, and there is an entire storyline in the footnotes which is material to the overall story.) I thought the ending was OK, which is the most-criticized part of the book by even the positive reviewers.

Still on my slow, casual re-read of The Eye of the World to prepare for the WoT TV show. Just started "Leavetaking."

I read Unnatural magic which I didn't love as much as I'd hoped. Now I'm visiting Lovecraft country.

In Victorian era, just getting started on a trip to Europe with some Monstrous Gentlewomen. (European Travel for the Monstrous Gentlewoman).

Highly recommend a visit to Lovecraft Country. It was amazing. Now I'm in New Salem with The once and future witches.

Just finished The Poe Estate by Polly Shulman. Having finished with ghosts and haunted houses, I'm off to The Wells Bequest for a quick trip with shrink rays and time machines.
