September/October - Time for Fall reading!

I can't believe that it is September already! I know everyone says that, but it is true. Time goes faster and faster. Anyway, I thought I'd start a new thread for sharing what we have been reading or whatever we want to share. I am currently working on reading the Bergman Brothers series by Chloe Liese and I'm really enjoying it. I am also doing two different reading challenges - Series September and The Fall into Reading Challenge. If you follow YouTube or Instagram book channels, I can give you the info on those.

I've done more reading in the last three weeks than I have a long time!

I've read:
Let Him Go by Larry Watson
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
Father's Arcane Daughter by E.L. Konigsburg
When Stars Collide by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
The Lieutenant's Lady by Bess Streeter Aldrich

I've just started The Fruit of Stone by Mark Spragg. I'm hoping to get farther into it tomorrow while my car is in the shop and I have nothing to do except read while I wait!

And now I've finished these:

A Is for Alibi by Sue Grafton (This was a reread for book club. One of my favorite series!
This Is How I Lied by Heather Gudenkauf
The Governess Game by Tessa Dare

This is the most I've read in months!

Hope, my mother loved Bess Streeter Aldrich and I have all of my mom's books of hers. I've been wanting to read them for a while. Mom's favorite was A Lantern in Her Hand. I also want to read And Then There Were None. I've never read an Agatha Christie book and have been wanting to do that as well. TOO MANY BOOKS NOT ENOUGH TIME!

I read nine books in September. I got slowed down by a few. Probably the most unique book I read was Other People's Things by Kerry Anne King. I really liked it a lot. I read one by her last year and really liked that one too so I'm thinking I need to check out her back list.
Happy Fall Reading Everyone!

>4 sdbookhound: I live about 30 miles from where Bess Streeter Aldrich grew up, which is the farm profiled in Song of Years. I loved that novel - discovered it when I was in junior high!

I have decided I will have to become immortal to get everything read that I want to!
