Disappeared from EP site. Only regular edition is available at this time. Took ep a long time to sell it and or to sell whatever they printed so far.

I just called two days ago and Maryanne ordered it for me. There was no warning on this, and it had no counter bfore it came off the site. By the way, does anyone else think that EP's website is just terrible?

>2 Frank_Zwolinski: absolutely horrible. I’m with you on this one completely. Recently, me and my friends were laughing at EP website presentation. In addition, some people in here complaint that EP charges their credit cards sporadically and not every month. In case you have monthly payments arrangement. Their site as archaic as translations they use in some of their books from public domain.
FS definitely has better website, information provided about particular book and they allow their customers to write reviews, which are not always flattering.

>4 Frank_Zwolinski: Let's just say I've seen worse, but the website ain't great. And it is very inferior to Folio's site.
Also, as aggressive as EP is about marketing in some ways, you'd think they make a bigger deal out of new releases (or books newly returned), but they often do not, and it's not unusual for me to hear about something for the first time here despite visiting their website regularly. On the positive side, the search feature works well. On the downside. it is massively annoying when some things get a countdown and then others disappear without warning. If you set a countdown on some items, a customer is not unreasonable in thinking that you will apply this practice across the board.
All that being said, as someone who had been on a long hiatus from collecting until about a year ago, I very much approve of these returning items since it gives me a chance to catch up on at least some of the DLEs I missed without having to pay exorbitant secondary market prices.

I wonder if the inconsistency of countdowns corresponds to the binder used for the book in question.

My copy FINALLY arrived 5 Sep, after Easton telling me it was mailed in late May (as indicated on my account page) and Customer Services could find NO information on that mailing. Looks like the Right hand doesn't know what the Left is doing. BUT, I do have a copy now.

>7 Frank_Zwolinski: Hey there, thanks so much for posting this. Can you please tell me if you are in Canada or the US? and what date did it mail out?
10Frank_Zwolinski
>9 Gilded_Tomes1: I am in the US and it was recd on about the 5th, not sure when they finally mailed it out, but this was a very large screwup blamed on the warehouse.

>10 Frank_Zwolinski: Have they been having issues with their warehouse sending out the wrong books? I've had a few mistaken books they've sent out, and I had to ship them back at my own cost, which wasn't cool

>11 Gilded_Tomes1: I’m surprised they made you pay for return shipping. You might want to reach out and ask for reimbursement. I’ve had to send a couple back from Canada due to an error and they have always reimbursed my shipping costs (I shipped myself then called and told them the cost).
