Searching CK for author birth months?

It's possible that I'm missing something obvious as I've had a rather extended hiatus from LT, so apologies if this is obvious!

Is it possible to search for authors by e.g. birth month? (Even better would be then to filter by authors in my library, but I'm starting small...) I've found this page: https://www.librarything.com/commonknowledge/ and am wondering what formatting I can use to search the birthdate field? Attempting a regexp e.g. 0-9{4}-01* doesn't work, and neither does 01 (I think from the outputs it's searching for individual "words" i.e. with whitespace in between). Am I being too nerdy? Do I need to make friends with the API? Is this all slightly abstract and not very pointy? Well, I know the answer to the latter is yes, but figured I'd ask the others here...
