Seems like this group should not become dormant/archived, i.e. dead.
More noir reading during lockdown?

Why not? If no one has bothered to post in it for nearly four years, why revive it? It’s clearly not generating much interest.

I guess we'll see, huh?
This group has a 12 year history and 446 members -- it's not a scroungy outlier.
What is it that irritates you so much when I try to save worthy groups?

I’m not “irritated”. I was merely wondering what the point was in trying to revive a group none of whose members (or even non-members) has posted for such a long period of time.

I was looking through the many mystery-related groups with a future post in mind. Most of the dormants are deservedly so. But I made a reviving post to two groups with a membership of 400+ and a long history. And I just got thanked on the other one (cozy mysteries) for doing so.
As to your 'why?' I suppose it's because I prefer to preserve rather than discard things I regard as worthy or even just potentially worthy.
As to 'irritated,' this is not the first time (or even second) that you have challenged my revival postings with a 'why?'.
