This short (81 pages- plus great appendix on "Natural Law") book is one of my CSL favorites. Lewis' concerns about Western education were remarkably straight-forward for an active college professor. Wouldn't it be great if we had a few like him today. I'm still hoping to find some people who would join a book discussion group, especially in these covid days when we can't very well meet at a library or someone's house.
I hope readers of this will consider adding comments or questions.
I wonder if I had posted a review here you might be more tempted to respond to the review than to the book itself. I write short reviews on almost every book I read, but can't consistently find a motive to warrant publishing most of them. Do I really want to try to stop people from reading a "bad" book? Or just try to help them see what's bad?
And for a great book like Abolition, what more would you like to hear to lead you to check into it here at LT?
