The best of this month were:
The Defense of Moscow 1941: The Northern Flank
The Fortress: The Siege of Przemysl and the Making of Europe's Bloodlands
Fields of Blood: The Prairie Grove Campaign
The second is particularly good as the author puts the siege into a wider context than it normally gets.

Not much military reading this month, just the Osprey Armies of Ivan the Terrible and the exhibition catalogue The Armored Horse in Europe. Neither were earth-shattering, but quick reads that achieve more-or-less what they're meant to do.
