Science fictiom book I read 10-15 years ago as a teenager
A teenage boy comes upon some hooded figures playing a game. Because boy got in the way of game they send him to another world. Whenever these hooded figures need to be on that world for their game, they move him to another world. This he spends years hopping from world to world. There are others like him that he's never met and they leave coded signs for each other to give warnings or info about that world. One day, this boy meets someone else like him also being sent from world to world. It's a slave a demon hunter.
Really wish I could find this book again.
