Lucy's (Sibyx) projects 2018

I'm finishing up a top that is turning out well and that is inspiring me to make a thread here. I'll model it on when I am really done. (Sleeves need finishing!) It's a Berroco pattern.

Here's the top!


The previous project was a vest I made for the spousal unit -- loose ends still haven't been tidied up since it will be an xmas gift so there is no hurry.

The vest:

It looks great -- have to finish the "sleeves" -- and I'm tempted to take out the bottom and make it into a tunic. I have almost a skein of yarn left!

Okay, here it is on. I think I will keep this as a top and maybe see if I like some other yarn color enough to knit a tunic size. Or the same yarn -- maybe longer sleeves? I'm very into brown lately. I admit I like easier patterns as I like to read while knitting . . . That means, of course, I have a bit of fixing to do on this one -- at least three safety pins where I dropped stitches and all those loose ends to weave in.

The top is beautiful and fits you perfectly. Well done!

Now i have to tidy it up! Have to get in the mood for that and absolutely no reading, tho' listening is ok.
