Is there a way on LT to share potential genealogy info on authors? I ask because the book I just added (At Home on the Range or How to Make Friends with your Stove) has its dust jacket info about the author and a dedication to a granddaughter. Perhaps folks researching their lines would be interested. Just FYI, it is by Margaret Yardley Potter, dedicated to "My granddaughter Nancy Root Gilbert who at the age of five years already has the two prime requisities of a good cook: a hearty appetite and a sense of humor." So granddaughter was 5 in 1947 (or 1946 if publishing hasn't changed!). I'll be glad to copy the DJ if anyone is interested.

I'd think that would be good to put in the comments section of your copy of the work, and maybe in the short bio section on the author page? I'm sure of the first suggestion, but not sure about the second :-)
