How can I find books in All Collections that are missing from Your Books?

I don't know if this has been asked before, so here goes anyway.

I've been cataloguing the library's books and somehow I have 4,112 books in All Collections but only 4,102 in Your Library. Presumably that happened because I didn't tag 10 books while I was entering them. Is there any way (without going through 4,000 odd entries on both sides) that I can see which ten books those are so I can tag them to Your Books? I hope that makes sense.

Go to your home or profile page. Click on Stats/Memes.

At the bottom left, click on collections. Now go to the very bottom of the page. There is a section called Books not in collections. If you click on Your Library there, you will get this list of your missing books. https://www.librarything.com/catalog/HollandseClub&special=collectionsinvers...

BTW, this route is also the place to go if you want to know which other collections have books in your Recent Additions collection. I frequently find it useful to be able to check which books are in both collection A and collection B.

Perfect! Done, thank you. I was thinking I was going to have to trawl through the whole lot.

z>2 MarthaJeanne: There is a section called Books not in collections.

I didn't think that was possible for a book not to be in any collection (at least, not since Collections first happened)! According to the Wiki: All new books are added to “All Collections” and “Your Library” by default. I know that when I am changing Collections (say I'm deaccessioning a book and want to remove it from "Your Library" and put it in my "Deaccessioned" collection), if I delete a book from one before adding it to another, I get a warning that "Books must belong to at least one collection. Book will be added to Your Library."

What this is is the place where there are links to the books that are not in each of your collections. So not books that aren't in any collections. Mine looks like this:

Books not in collections

Links go to the "inverse" of the collection—to all the books that aren't in the collection

DVD (7603), Working collection (7302), MJ (816), Owned Fiction (6191), Your library (2830), E-books (7416), Read but unowned (5938), Currently reading (7630), To read (7382), Currently studying (7636), Jerry (7272), Lesepatin Buecher (7598), Theology (5932), Textiles and Crafts (7035), Food and Gardens (7043), Wishlist (7651), Needs Checking (4876), Other Discards (7478), Steven (7556), Memories (7464), In Omnibus (7649)

Books that I entered with the ISSN number didn't appear in my library, even if they appeared in "all collections" and in the collection I created for them. Does anyone know why...?
Thanks!

>8 Larunda: With a private library, it's hard to help with issues, because we can't see anything.
Might want to follow the directions in >2 MarthaJeanne: to find the items so you can place them in the proper collections.
