There as a better than average Soviet joke in one thread, and someone suggested a special thread for humor. Instead of limiting it to Russian jokes, lets just poke fun at anyone who seems to deserve it. Or not.

Remember, this is the humor thread. Tongues must be inserted firmly in cheeks!

A soviet boy asks his father, "Pappa, what is capitalism?"

"Ah, son, that is when Man oppresses his fellow Man."

"But then, what is communism?"

"Ah, son, that is when it works in reverse."

There is absolutely nothing funny about politics.

Politics is okay, but there's something funny about it.

George Bush, surrounded by his entourage of Secret Service men, makes an impulsive visit to an upscale Washington DC restaurant for lunch.

The pretty, flustered young waitress brings him the menu. He studies it for a minute, scowling, and then looks up at her and smiles and says

"Well, you know what Ah'd really lahk? Ah think Ah'd lahk a quickie!"

She blushes deeply and then, through tears, shouts at him ... "You dirty old man ... you're just like all the others! Why, I voted for you because you said you believed in family values ... you nasty hypocrite!"

And then she spins on her heel and runs off, weeping.

Bush stares at her retreating figure with his mouth open, dumbfounded.

Then a Secret Service man bends over and whispers in his ear ... "Mr President ... it's pronounced 'keesh'".

Finally, a new bumper sticker for BOTH political parties.

This hottest selling political bumper sticker comes from New York State:

"RUN HILARY RUN'

Democrats put it on the rear bumper.

Republicans put it on the front bumper.

Not too sure that this is *actually* funny.
