My vegan bf wishes more 'junk' food was suitable for him- Mars Bars, that kinda thing, for when he's hungry out-and-about and just needs something to fill the gap.
On the other hand it's good cuz it stops him from eating all that junk, becoming overweight and getting cavities etc :D

What is pocky?
I think that Silk does make a coffee creamer. Yes, a quick internet search produces this: http://www.silksoymilk.com/Products/SilkCreamer.aspx

Yes, but that creamer is terrible....*shudder*
ETA: I interpreted the question as what do we wish was vegan/veg that isn't, not what do we wish there was a substitute for. :) There's a sub for almost everything....

#4 Pocky is a Japanese snack that consists of a long thin biscuit stick covered in chocolate in various flavors like green tea, almond and of course the tradional chocolate and strawberry.

Another one who loves the idea of vegan Pocky ...
I would say the impossible vegan KFC chicken burger with bacon. I KNOW there are 'substitutes' for bacon and chicken, but they are just not the same as the real thing.

Marshmallows. I know you can get marshmallow fluff, but I want ones you can toast in front of the fire.
I would have thought it would be an easy thing to create. After all, you can get vegetarian jelly.

#9 I've seen them online. I'll try to remember where. Vegan Essentials maybe? I need to order some and see if they toast.

The only 2 things I miss since becoming a vegetarian (10 years ago) are fried chicken from this one restaurant in my home town, and buffalo wings from anywhere. I've had some semi-decent phony buffalo wings, but why has no company tried its hand at fried chicken?

Hot wings. Haven't had them in 15 years but they still pop up in my dreams... *wistful sigh*

Curry goat with rice and peas, West Indies-style. Good grief: so tasty I fantasize about it if I've had too much rum, 22 years after giving up meat. *salivates, guiltily.

Skittles (theres got to be a way they could make them without the gelatin!)
Turkey Dinner.
My mom's buttertarts.
PS- I've never had a pocky, but now I want them too!

Yes, Skittles! (Also red liquorice....) I hate gelatin. It's always ruining my candy fun.

Wine Gums - they contain gelatine, beef fat and beeswax. Also, some of the British dark beers which tend to be cleared using isinglas (fish product).

Cottage cheese. I'm satisfied by the selection of imitation cream cheese, sour cream, cream, yogurt, etc., but there is really no replacement for cottage cheese.
For the people who want Pocky, try Pepero. It's a Korean version and I think the regular and a couple other varieties are vegan. You should be able to find it in any city with more than a handful of Koreans.

Before I would have said "cheese-steak sub," but then I came up with a good vegan way of making it I rather liked.
I wish that Werther's Originals hard candies were vegan...there's probably a similar vegan product though, I haven't seen one.

>I really really want vegan bibimbap: the kind w/the fried egg put on the rice. Sigh.
You don't like it without the egg? I go to a local Korean restaurant and order bibimbap with tofu every single time.
