Went to a charity shop in the village where one of my son's lives so that I could work in a visit to him as well. I made sure I took Digestive biscuits with me this time as sometimes he has eaten himself out of house and home!
Got 13 books. Well, in truth 14, but I didn't realize that in one of the books some pages were loose, so I didn't keep that one. I'm a bit of a purist like that!
Anyway, I got some Penguins and a couple of Virago's.
PENGUIN:
Compulsion by Jonathan Kellerman
Politika (Power Plays) by Tom Clancy
I play the Drums in a Band Called Okay by Toby Litt
The Wrecker by Clive Cussler and Justin Scott
The Turn of the Screw by Henry James
Another World by Pat Barker
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote
Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling
Spartan Gold by Clive Cussler with Grant Blackwood
VIRAGO:
The Well and the Mine by Gin Phillips
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
I also got The Bat by Jo Nesbo (The first Harry Hole Thriller)
and
On the Home Front in the Country from the early years of Punch.
