I read this book over a year ago, so my comments may be a little distorted by time.
I think that this was another book where I struggled to get into it at the start of the story. Sometimes it just felt like too much background information. I do like the idea of strong, independent teen characters who belong to a covert society. There were suspenseful moments as well as the more tedious sections, but all in all, I would recommend it for the younger teens.

I read this book a year or two ago too, though I actually really enjoyed it. I admit I can't remember much other than thinking it had a fawesome attitude, I really liked Mona, it was funny and I wanted a sequel. Oh, and something was sad at the end, where I wanted to cry (or probably did cry) for a character. (I have slightly more recollection on this, but it is all spoilery.)
