The winner of this year's Booker Prize is A Brief History of Seven Killings by the Jamaican author Marlon James. I've only finished five longlisted books and two books from the shortlist, but this was my favorite of the ones I've read so far.

I just requested it on Kindle from my library. There are a couple of people ahead of me but I think I beat the rush.

I just requested an ebook of A Brief History of Seven Killings from my library, too. There is one person ahead of me (per copy). I had to take a different book off my hold list - my library allows only 8 holds.
I was a bit disappointed by A Spool of Blue Thread, haven't read any of the others yet.
