Should books with P.S. in the title be separated?

I was wondering why I had a few books where P. S. followed the title. I found this explanation.
"P.S. after a book's title refers to HarperCollins' Perennial trade paperbacks. Here is part of the corporate release describing the program:
"New York, NY (July 29, 2004) HarperCollins announced today that its Perennial imprint is launching a new trade paperback program called P.S.. Titles in this program will contain an additional section at the back of the book with behind-the-pages insights, interviews and more. The extra content in this section will take these titles beyond traditional reprinting and offers readers added value with their paperback purchase.
Similar to DVDs which regularly include outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage from feature films, each P.S. section will be unique; the extra 16-pages will offer readers an in-depth look at both the author and their book. The P.S. section will use interviews, essays, articles, photos and illustrations to explore the authors' sources of inspiration. P.S. may also contain topics related to the book's subject matter and show the impact a book has had since its publication.
Should these now be separated from the same book without the P.S.? I am not sure if the "what to combine" definition covers this. Any suggestions?

16 pages. Hardly enough to make a big difference. I would combine.

Would keep together. Front and back matter generally don't warrant separation unless they're substantial enough to make a significantly different text. E.g. editions of a novel with different introductions would still be the same work in LT terms.

Absolutely don't separate them.
For one thing, it's not even close to enough material to be worth it. For the other, most of the time people edit that sort of crud out of their title - the absence of "PS" in the title doesn't mean it's not a "PS" edition. Most of these are relatively new books, without a hardcover release, so the form of the title will tell you more about where someone added a book from than about the edition.

Yeah, no. It's a marketing gimmick, not central to the work, and isn't consistently applied anyway.
