The novels are three modern classics of horror, that I haven't read yet, maybe because I don't like specially vampire stories

The keep by Paul F Wilson

The hunger by Whitley Strieber

Lost souls by Poppy Z Brite

what can you say me about these novels?

I read Lost Souls a lonnnnnng time ago, but I know I enjoyed it quite a lot. I also used to read and occasionally exchange comments with Poppy Z Brite on his LJ, nice person.

I have read all the Repairman Jack books by F. Paul Wilson and enjoyed them.

Whitley Strieber puts me in a coma even though I like that type of subject matter.

I love Poppy Z Brite and have read all her books.

>3 pollux: Brite is trans and identifies as male, just so you're aware; the "her" pronoun isn't really correct.

I did not know that.

On the author bio of her last 4 books, they all refer to her and she and that she lives in New Orleans with husband Chris, a chef. Also they show they same picture of a very feminine looking person.

Doesn't matter, Poppy writes a hella book.

>6 pollux: It's fine you didn't know, that's why I tossed it out there; now you know, and will know the proper pronoun to use when referring to him. :)
He was born female so yes, the photos would technically show a woman, although I don't know I've ever seen a photo of him I'd describe as "feminine," as that's not his personality type at all. I'm not sure which books you refer to, but it's neither here nor there. He's pretty much always identified as a "gay man in a woman's body." And more extra tidbits to continue the derailment of the thread ;), he and Chris also broke up a few years ago.

Thanks PolymathicMonkey

Sounds like you know what you're talking about.

The books I looked at were {Exquisite Corpse Soul Kitchen, Liquor, and Prime

I have all his books and hope more are coming in the future.

You're welcome. And yeah, like I said I read his LJ for a little while, in the past, so was acquainted with his general outlook on things. :)
I think I only own one, I really ought to locate the rest, I have no idea why I never did! I mean I know I'd previously looked in stores and not seen others, but then online ordering came along... I will have to remedy this. :D

re: future- It's unlikely, as he's decided he no longer wants to write, or at least not for publishing. It's possible he'll change his mind in the future, but, I wouldn't hold your breath.
