A thread for recommending No votes on cover flags that seem to be attracting Yes votes.
There's a nearly completely white cover for Meditations, but if you look closely it has a small Penguin logo in the bottom right corner (almost obscured by the High Quality 1004x1542 badge - you can find it by showing all custom covers and searching the page for "1004x1542"). I suspect that it is a genuine cover. There's another picture of it here: http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/1148/2088/1600/71681/penguin.jpg - which I think has plastic wrap and a sticker on it.
(Also on the Meditations cover list are a few that I would love to flag "Learn to crop".)

Shouldn't you link to the vote in question? I know I'm not about to go searching through 200 covers to find this one.

There isn't a way to link directly to the vote (that has been requested somewhere, and I've added it here).
The easiest way to find it is from the work covers page I linked to, and search in that page for 1004x1542 - it's the only cover that size.

I looked up the contents of the Estonian book Islandi saagad with the cover https://pics-librarything.r.worldssl.net/picsizes/ea/24/ea240fc054547e059324f615... and it contains the two Vinland sagas of Eirikr Red and the Greenlanders' Saga, just like the work that it is used for, https://www.librarything.com/work/121225 .

>6 anglemark: I already did, having come to the same conclusion.

"Joy in the Morning" and "Jeeves in the Morning" are US and UK title variants of the same work. Please vote No on the cover flag with "Jeeves" on the cover as inapplicable to "Joy". (It's for an audiobook, but it says "Complete and Unabridged" and is therefore applicable on those grounds as well.)

I flagged the abridged version of Last Chance to see, but I think I also flagged the non-abridged edition. So I voted no on the non-abridged version. Sorry about the oops!

"Bunbury" is the German title of the work English-speakers know as The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. So covers with that title for that work are legitimate. I've spotted at least two such covers on the first page of the "Inapplicable to this work" flags, and thought I'd say something.
