Our first disscusion! Cool!

Our book this month was elsewhere I would like to know what every one thought of it. I originally picked it up because I liked Everlost which is very much like this book. Everlost was more of an adventure story while elsewhere was just the story of a girl's life after death. I thought it was very good definantly not as good as Everlost but good all the same. What I thought the most interesting part of the book was that when they die you begin to age backwards. I think I would recomend this book to anyone who was looking for an interesting and light read hoped everyone liked it!

I would like to know who you would recomend this book to and your general reactions to it have fun! If you have any suggestions for the way the monthly disscusion runs please feel free to post them. I will announce the book we are readig for august on the first or second! Read! Read! Read!

I found Elsewhere really interesting, though I didn't really like the writing style. There was something else that bugged me about it, but I can'tquite remember it now. I think I wouldv'e liked more to happen.

In general I liked the book, but I found it to be a little depressing. It was an interesting variation on reincarnation, but not really logical. I mean if everyone who died came back, the population would always be the same, but of course we know that there are more and more people everyday!

I'm sorry but after all the aclaim, I thought that the book was going to be more than it was. The premise for the plot was interesting, but the writing was not. It took me some time to develop some sympathy for the main character, and I still wanted something more from her.

4: Agreed, though I wanted more from the book in general. The premise was definitely interesting, but not enough happened.
