What did YOU buy today? July 2013

Three ARCs: My Notorious Life by Kate Manning, Anything but Civil by Anna Loan-Wilsey, and Social: Why Our Brains are Wired to Connect by Matthew D. Lieberman.

Three more ARCs and, dang, two more purchases.

Bought:
* The Duchess Hunt by Jennifer Haymore (historical romance; heard she was good, keep buying her without having stopped to read her and form my own opinion)
* The Young Clementina by D. E. Stevenson (fiction from the '30s; I read and enjoyed Miss Buncle's Book last year, and have begun Miss Buncle Married)

Brought home:
* Mrs. Poe by Lynn Cullen (historical fiction)
* My Life in Middlemarch by Rebecca Mead (memoir and literary reflections)
* Just Babies: The Origins of Good and Evil by Paul Bloom (psychology/neuropsychology, according to the back cover)

Bought one book for a future book group (Giants in the Earth by O.E. Rolvaag) and one (Confederates Don't Wear Couture by Stephanie Kate Strohm) because I bought her first living history-centered book.

And two more ARCs:
* How To Catch a Bogle by Catherine Jinks (children's fantasy by an author I've read before)
* A Lady's Secret Weapon by Tracy Devlyn (historical romance; have other ARCs but haven't read her yet)
