For future reference, mine or anyone else's who runs a RaT:

The Announcement thread should go up as soon as the time is determined, listing time and dates, a sample of the timeline, and a link to the Wikipage (which, obviously, also needs to go up then). Also send Jeremy a link, for SoTT and blog post.
A week to 24 hours before the RaT begins, a What will you read? thread should go up, asking for plans and themes and the like.
The Logbook thread should go up at least a couple hours before the RaT begins, with specific reference to the time of starting (as compared to when the thread is posted), a list of interesting questions to answer, and a link to the Wikipage. Try not to edit that post in the future - make a second post immediately after it for adding stuff if necessary.

In the timeline, days should be written out - and they should be attached to 1 am, not to midnight (too confusing - is that the day that's ending or the one that's beginning?). So
Midnight
0100 (Tuesday)
0200
etc.

Did the three timezone table work? Was everyone able to find a timezone that worked for them as a reference?
Is there anything else you would have liked (aside from What will you read, which didn't happen) to see?
Did anything happen that didn't work for you? Several people, including me, got confused toward the end of the RaT - the timeline instructions above are supposed to help with that.

Thanks - this will help anyone who does a RaT in the future. This was my first one, and I needed prompting for several things and discovered problems with things I thought I knew. This thread should be helpful.

Indeed, very helpful. I hope we get feedback on the timezone table.

Very good, especially the time table 0100 (Tuesday). I haven't got any problem with the timezone (Switzerland) that was working great for me.

Also the 'what will you read' would be a good idea. So we could get the possibilty to find a theme or themes for the reading.

Anyway, I like the week-long RaT and hope that will find a new one in autumn?

Thanks a lot to all organisers, it was a great week. :-D

I would be happy with the day switch in the timetable. That would help a lot to find the right slot for a reading hour.

Keep an eye out here and in Site Talk - that's where the mention of an upcoming one, and then the announcement of a set date, usually show up. Glad to have you!
