Those are lovely, Lola. There is in a section in Osamu Dazai's novel, The Setting Sun where the narrator, the soon to grotesquely blossom wallflower daughter of a sickly aristocratic widow, kills a snake (or was a knot of snakes?) Deep feelings of guilt (and more snakes) and shabby fate ensue as apparently it is bad luck to insult or otherwise harm a snake. So ladies, ....

Well not necessarily nice, but do no harm, cast no aspersions, etc would be in order... Clearly, I need a hobby.

Nice! I love the Pentecostal dove hovering in the corner.

I've had a really long rattlesnake hide, skull and all, since college. Found it on the wall of room. I've had it draped over bookshelves and or lamps for years. Amazingly, it's help up nicely.
