I'm not sure what kind of goal to set. I've never kept track of how many book I read a year so I'm unsure what's reasonable. I know I've read 5 books so far this year and none of them were the books on my shelf, which seems wrong. Why keep so many books if I'm never going to read them? So this challenge seems like a good idea, even if I'm not sure about choosing a numeric goal.
I'll set a conservative goal of 12, one book a month. However, this might also be a good place for me to record the total number of books in my collection and how many of them I've never read.

I currently have 403 books in my library, but can't tell how many of those I've read before. I guess I'll keep to the small goal for now.
