I really enjoy flipping through the offerings at Oak Knoll Press. I think their books on books and publishing are unmatched. Or are they? Are there other publishers out there that specialize in books on books? I know some university presses will release scholarly works about regional publishing efforts, but are there other imprints out there that fall into the same category as Oak Knoll?

If so, please share, I'd really like to see what they offer.

Oak Knoll is far and away the most active right now-- perhaps the best ever. There have been others, but are no longer active like Burt Franklin. I also grab any books published by Beta Phi Mu-- there's quite a series there. Not sure if they are still publishing in their monograph and chapbook series or not, but there's nearly 100 years worth of "annuals" to gather. I need to work a little more on the series here on LT, now that you ask...

#3 - Wow. Those books look expansive (and expensive). I would like to spend some time with them... one day. Maybe I can find a library that has them. My book budget can't quite cover those. But they are certainly something I'd like to read.
