I am a Tudorphobe! I did not know of another book re. Catherine Parr. I'm going to see if my library has a copy of this one!

You are off to a great start. Good luck with your "mission".

@ Whisper - Two new biography's of Catherine Parr came out last year. I was happy!

@ alcottacre - Thanks I need it!

6. Queen Victoria's Grandchildren by Lance Salway - January 29, 2011: This book had a lot of photographs of the 'Victorians' that I had not seen. It also went into depth about the lesser known of the grandchildren.

7. Flashforward by Robert J. Sawyer - February 3, 2011 : I read this hoping to find a little closure from the cancellation of the TV series....the book was an easy read, but still let me down. I was expecting a closer tie in to the TV version....I didn't get it!

8. Death and the Virgin Queen by Chris Skidmore - February 8, 2011 : Really interesting facts about the murder??? of Robert Dudley's wife, Amy Robsart. Most telling was the recently found coroner's report....the staircase only had 8 steps, and 'dyntes' were found in her head. I liked it!

9. Laurel Canyon: The Inside Story of Rock and Roll's Legendary Neighborhood by Michael Walker - February 12, 2011

10. Take a Walk on the Dark Side: Rock and Roll Myths, Legends, and Curses by R. Gary Patterson - February 14, 2011 : Some rumors, some facts, always interesting!

The music book titles sound interesting - I have another book on the Laurel Canyon musicians by a different author.

13. From Splendor to Revolution: The Romanov Women, 1847-1928 by Julia P. Gelardi - March 29, 2011

For some reason I just could not get the time to read this month at all. It also took me three times longer to read the books this month that I did manage to read. Therefore I am woefully behind on my challenge. April will be better!

I hope April does prove to be better for you!

I am adding From Splendor to Revolution to the BlackHole. It looks like a book I would enjoy. Thanks for the mention.
