We're starting off with Lisa See's Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. It'll be a discovery for me, because I've never heard either of the author or her work.

Oh, I enjoyed that book very much, Cecilturtle! Let us know what you think of it.

I'm reading Mountains Beyond Mountains for my library club, and I am finding it quite fascinating. :o)

#1 - Cecilturtle, we'll be reading Snow Flower and the Secret Fan in May, so I'm anxious to hear what you think of it!

In April, my book group is reading Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, which is one of my all-time favourite books. It's been some time since I last read it, and I'm so looking forward to it - especially after the duds we've had to read in recent months!

For April I am just finishing up THe Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. We are meeting tomorrow and I have about 50 pages to go so I hope I can squeeze in some reading time between now and then.

This is the first time I read this book and I think it is excellent - I just love the characters (they are so strange). I think it will be a great discussion!
