SantaThingSantaThing Entry #99

Book tastes

I like books with explicit language, swear words. Or comedies and parodies.
Other genres you'll find on my bookshelf are fantasy or supernatural and sci-fi.
I used to read manga, but now prefer reading webcomics instead, at least once a day.

Don't get this!

Please don't think I'm being picky, but I already have The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck, The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a Fuck, Nightbitch, I Hate Everybody, Go the Fuck to Sleep, Empire of the Vampire book 1.

Secret Santa

UseHerName's Secret Santa was Peace2!

katemcangus: Refunded as delivery address was incorrect and attempts to contact Santee went unanswered. :( (helmikuu 16, 1:19pm)
ablachly: ordered! (joulukuu 6, 2023, 10:36am)
Peace2: Other books I considered were:

Sarah Knight's You do You 9781787470422 or Get your Sh*t together 9781529434897

As suggested by dacejav below I looked at Samantha Irby's We are never meeting in real life 9780571349814

I also considered Colin calls the Help Desk 0645052426 but it wasn't listed at the store - nor were a number of the below suggestions unfortunately with the others being higher than budget.

I looked at UseHerName's wishlist but the other items shown were not within budget unfortunately. (marraskuu 29, 2023, 6:26pm)
thebookmagpie: Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh has plenty of swearing and is also pretty funny in places. (marraskuu 29, 2023, 5:37pm)
dacejav: Samantha Irby books. (marraskuu 29, 2023, 7:06am)
ilgarcon: Bad Santa by Mike Kozarski ISBN: B0875WT2RP (paperback) lots of swear words, comedy. (marraskuu 25, 2023, 6:01pm)
faerywings: If they enjoy Dungeons and Dragons, maybe the Critical Failures series by Robert Bevan. Lots of swearing, lots of "bathroom humor", but very fun.

(marraskuu 15, 2023, 7:50pm)
hnau: James Kelman, How Late It Was, How Late - lots of swearing in Glaswegian dialect (marraskuu 14, 2023, 1:52pm)
