White Crow Books
About My Library
The name ‘White Crow’ says much about us. It pays homage to the great 19th century spiritual adventurer, William James: ‘To upset the conclusion that all crows are black,’ he said, ‘there is no need to seek demonstration that no crow is black; it is sufficient to produce one white crow; a single one is sufficient.’
William James was a truth seeker, and in this same spirit of exploration, we venture into the publishing game. If you too are a truth seeker, then maybe we can be of assistance on your pilgrim path to enlightenment.

Our books are either non-fiction or classic fiction of a spiritual nature encompassing world spirituality. But not all; we have, for instance, a book called Conversations with Mozart. Perhaps in the end, everything is spiritual for those with eyes to see, and we’re no great friends of labels of whatever sort.

Concerning formats, we’re delighted to say that our books are digital editions, available in hardback, paperback, eBook – and in some cases, digital audio formats. So they’ll never be out of print, and the trees are laughing because they’re only printed on demand.

We’re in easy reach. Wherever you are in the world, you can purchase our books from good online bookstores like Amazon and also the occasional bricks and mortar outlet.

And if you are someone with a penchant for eBooks and have a Kindle in Kentucky, an iPad in Iceland, a Cooler in Cambridge or a Sony in Smolensk, breathe easy – you can always find a book to lift or challenge your soul on White Crow.

What do we like? We like these journeying words from TS Eliot: ‘We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.’

But that’s enough about us. From here on it’s about you and truth’s surprise.
