A good collection of modern poetry in English plus a small collection of Russian books that are now hard to find. Beyond these specialties, a good library on environmental history, American Indians, and natural history, and just about everything written by Reynolds Price (a coincidental interest).

My interest in Russia and Central Asia and the time I've spent in some of the area's farther regions allowed me to collect a number of nice books on Russian history, Central Asian subjects, and the Soviet era. I write about these areas as well as about environmental subjects.
