About My Library
Inaugurated in 1991, the Canadian Studies library (CSL) is located in the premises of the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, New Delhi. It is the main information resource centre of Canadian publications in India. The library is funded by generous financial support from the International Academic Relations Division, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Canada.

The library houses a large and comprehensive collection of books, scholarly journals and newspapers, videocassettes, CD ROMs and microfiche with specific Canadian content. While the collection is primarily in English, there is a significant amount of material available in French as well.

Resources

The library is intended to serve as a Canadian Studies reference resource centre for anyone seeking information on Canada.

The collection of books and journals comprises of a wide range of materials. The library is currently subscribing to over 60 Canadian journals. The areas of study include the following:

In addition, information on Universities in Canada and courses offered is also available at the resource centre. College students, research scholars, academicians, Professors, business entrepreneurs seeking information on research as well as higher education can visit the library for information.

Also, it serves as a resource for people visiting or immigrating to Canada.
