- About Me
- I am an engineer in mid-career, the son of two English teachers. These are books that I have read cover-to-cover, those that I have partially read, and those that I intend to read "someday". They do not include the many I have put down after reading half or more and losing interest. So understand that my ratings, 1-to-5 stars, are of *good* books and many are of books that affected me or inspired me at various stages of my life.
For example, I gave the ordinary mass market paperback novel "Paper Chase" 5 stars: I read it in high school and it inspired me to study.
I am still looking for books that affect me or inspire me but they are few and far between, unfortunately. Maybe this LibraryThing will help improve my luck. - Sijainti
