About My Library
Collected over the years, some lost when I briefly emigrated to Canada and another clear out when I couldn't get all the books in my car when moving to northern England. Quite a lot purchased since then: strength in history and biography especially. Not much 'modern' fiction - though not averse to some thrillers! Books are a psychological resource and a retreat for me. I like their physicality as well as their contents - I don't think I'd ever be happy with an e-reader.
About Me

Casually dressed imitation intellectual late sixties male from southern England but living in the north of the country. More comfortable with the past than the present, but very fond of the internet and technology. Butterfly mind - wish I was more of a scholar. However, started an MA in Creative Writing in autumn 2020, and finished it in summer 2022. Now writing a novel.
