I will try almost any book. I've got a particular weakness for literary science fiction (whatever that means), American magical realism and macho action novels where lots of things blow up.

I also love Southern lit and pop science, but seriously, I'll try anything.

I've been an independent bookseller since 1989. In January of 2008, I purchased Fountain Bookstore in Richmond, Virginia....the bookstore I have run since 2000. It's the love of my life...which is a good thing since no one else will have me. No room! House full o' books!
