About My Library: My library is eclectic. I can't throw books away, but have weeded the collection and given away scads of books to which I feel a lesser attachment. I especially love christian/inspirational, biography and social history when it comes to nonfiction; I have a fondness for historical fiction (if it's well researched), science fiction, fantasy, young adult fiction, mystery (especially medical mystery!), and sometimes even classics!
About Me: Hi Everyone!
I am a high school English teacher. I love books, a good conversation over a sharp shiraz, teenagers, my husband, gardening, cooking, chocolate, spring, northern lights, travel and nongratis humanitarian work. The order of that may change on any given day, depending on my world at the moment! My life is shaped to a great degree by my faith in and understanding of Jesus Christ. I have no kids, but a cat and a fish instead! I have run a 5K marathon successfully and might try for a 10K this summer. I'm working on a Master's Degree and, well, that about wraps that up.
