About My Library

I try to catalogue and rate all books I have ever read. Also, I catalogue books that are in my library, but I have not yet read. (So if you stumble across a books that has no rating, I have either not yet read it or can't remember well enough to rate it).
Momentarily I try to reduce the amount of books in the 'TBR'-category.

About Me

Jag söker en person med den jag kan skriva på svenska här och som det inte störe, det min svenska är inte så bra hittills. Men jag skulle vilja förbättra, jag hoppas, med tiden.

I have studied german and english studies in Greifswald, Germany. Now I am working at a biotechnology company as assistant/secretary. I have to speak and write a lot in english and am always interested in meeting and communicating with other people. I really like to learn more about other cultures. Currently I would really like to meet people from Great Britain or Sweden, mainly to improve my knowledge of language and country, but also to get to know more peoply and maybe help them with knowledge about Germany.
In my freetime I love reading, cooking and baking. I do not love to go to parties and like to have quiet evenings. However, I enjoy meeting friends, talking together, cooking together and/or watching films or playing together. Moreover I like to go on walks with my boyfriend. And most of all I enjoy to browse around in Bookstores and libraries. I love to buy my books in so-called 'brick-and-mortar-stores' which do not belong to a bigger, pan-country chain. Sometimes, however I order books on amazon or ebay, but will buy them used then. I am also a member on BookMooch and tausch-buecher.de like to give away books to people, who would enjoy them more than me.
