About My Library
These books have been collected over the last fifteen years since my love of horses was triggered by my work at a horse sanctuary in England. I've progressed from terrified beginner to being a nervous but reasonably competent rider and confident ground handler of all types of equines. I am also a fully qualified equine shiatsu therapist, again using many books from this Library during my studies. These books are all pulled off the shelf and still referred to at different times. I may not agree with everything that is written in all of them but I like to read almost anything and then reason why I might not agree with the text and see whether I need to revise my opinions or knowledge.

Having such a wide variety of opinions from the myriad of titles on the shelves allows me to gather different perspectives on a topic and then form my own opinion and level of knowledge in an informed way.
About Me
I live in the south west of Scotland in the UK amongst glorious rolling hills and green valleys in an area known as the Clyde Valley. I am lucky enough to have met and married the most amazing man on the planet and we live in an old farmhouse with ponies, chickens and cats in varying amounts of each species.

I have a HUGE library running to waaaaay too many metres of shelving; our real world library is quite an eclectic mix of topics ranging from science fiction to crime drama and building your own house to knitting a cardigan. I've chosen to put just the horse ones on here.

My main hobby is the horses, as if you hadn't guessed! I also love reading, knitting, watching the seasons pass, photography and wildlife and food gardening.
