About My Library

Northeast Alabama Genealogical Society, Inc. (NEAGS) is located in the Nichols Memorial Library, One Cabot Avenue, Gadsden, Alabama. Nichols Memorial Library is on both the Alabama and National Register of Historic Places.

Meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:00 am. The library is open every Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am for history class and from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for research. Great volunteers are waiting to assist you with your research.
