Welcome to my page! I'm an independent scholar historian. My published works can be described as military history and Native American studies. I enjoy reading a variety of things including both fiction and non-fiction. I became a published historian in 2011 when my first essay, Why They Fought: Native American Involvement in the Civil War, was published by Whispering Wind Magazine. The following year, 2012, my second essay was published also by Whispering Wind: A Nation Whose Language You Will Not Understand: The Comanche Code Talkers of World War II. My first book, The Civil War and the Subversion of American Indian Sovereignty, was published in 2017 by McFarland & Company, Inc. Publishers.
