About My Library
The Frye library is a collection of around 2200 works, mostly monographs. Much of the collection was donated by former curators, some works may be from the founders' collection (Charles and Emma Frye), some are specifically purchased, and some are acquired through the normal exchange of information between cultural institutions.

The library is open to the public by appointment with the Head of Collections.
About Me
I am a cultural entity in Seattle, and this is my mission statement:

The Frye Art Museum is a living legacy of visionary patronage and civic responsibility, committed to artistic inquiry and a rich visitor experience. A catalyst for our engagement with contemporary art and artists is the Founding Collection of Charles and Emma Frye, access to which shall always be free.

The Charles and Emma Frye Free Public Art Museum is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation, organized as a charitable non-profit corporation in Washington State.
