- About My Library
- When I moved to Denmark in 1997, I had to leave all my books behind. So, I had to start my collection all over from scratch at the age of 24. I have no idea how many books I had collected before I moved there, and I can't even remember some of the titles now, to replace them.
However, little by little, in my time here, I have been able to remake a library that I am proud of. I have tried to collect a little bit from each genre, although I am a huge fan of series, so sometimes I get so caught up in one series, it's hard to break away from it and move on to something new.
I re-read my books over and over again, which is why I buy them, as opposed to checking them out in the library. Every once in awhile, I will start thinking about a book I had read, and decide to read it again, so its nice to be able to just pull it off the shelf.
My library has been moved from Copenhagen, Denmark to Lelystad, The Netherlands, I can't leave them behind! Because of the move, I removed all the books from my library (some that we listed belong to my ex) and have started re-entering my library again. I decided to make it a bit more challenging so I can only add the old books again, once I have re-read them. :) Also so I can rate them accurately and write reviews. I have decided that new books can be added upon aquiring them. So my full library will take some time to be added again. - About Me
- What is there to say really? I am 36, an ex-patriot American living in Europe. I haven't quite figured out what I am going to do with my life but the journey certainly hasn't been boring!
