Will (quoted in Sibley's): leaves to his wife Ann all his "Plate, Books, Wearing Apparel ..."

Notice text (15 and 22 April): "TO be Sold, The Dwelling House, Out-house and Garden late the Estate of the Rev. Mr. Samuel Myles deceas'd, Enquire of the Executors Mrs. Ann Myles and Messieurs William Price and Thomas Creese, jun. And all Persons having any Demands upon, or are Indebted to said Estate are desired to bring in their Claims and settle the same; and likewise all Persons who have any Books belonging to the said Mr. Myles, or to the Church Library, are desired to return the same forthwith to the aforesaid Executors."

Advertisement text (5 August): "ON Wednesday the 14th P.M. will be Sold at the dwelling House of the late Rev. Mr. Miles his Choice Library of Books."

For a time, Myles had charge of the collection of books now known as the King's Chapel collection (at the Boston Athenaeum).
