Young adult books are probably my favourite! If it's fantasy even better. A surprise ending that is unpredictable - that's icing on the cake. The Jade Castle ticks all the boxes for me.
Wow! This one has a bit of everything - mystery, murder, war, love, sibling rivalry, unique abilities and all set in space!
The main character, Daith can't remember anything about her life. What she doesn't know is there is a good reason for that - she has special abilities and everyone wants to exploit them. It's hard to differentiate between who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. There's a grey area that only begins to darken by the end of the book. I need book 2 to find out!
