A short book that seems to continue the story of the Berry sisters's journey as mail order brides. Though Eliza did not marry her mail order husband, she is now seriously dating Matt Weston. She's also been asked to help acclimate three new mail order brides coming in from Texas--a part of which is counseling one of the potential husbands to get to know his potential bride whose physical looks are not what he'd hoped.
The underlying message is a very good one that we all need to practice in our every day lives: don't judge a book by its cover. However, I found errors in different places while reading and either the writer has a terrible editor, or they both thought this would go unnoticed.
As for the story line, it's sweet, but lacking. It doesn't really feel neatly tied up. Yes, there is a sequel, but I would like to see something in the end that would be both satisfying and still serve as a good transition point for the next book. The characters are easy to admire, but I just think the writer needs to strengthen her work before publishing.
