Each chapter starts with a short extract from a work of Heidegger. This is followed by an essay which is not at first sight related to the extract. Then when you go back to the extract you are supposed to go "Ah - so that's what he was saying!". And sort of yes, maybe if you squint. As an introduction to Heidegger it fails.

I struggled with this one; turns out I really don't like philosophy, especially as it's utilized in this book. I have no patience for all the overthinking and sometimes it felt too much like math.
