Laura Van Wormer was born on November 11, 1955. She attended S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she studied to become a television writer, anchorwoman, and talk show host. After receiving a B.S. degree in 1978, she worked as the secretary to the näytä lisää editor-in-chief of Doubleday and was promoted up to the rank of editor. She became a freelance book author in 1984 and wrote books based on the television shows Dynasty, Dallas, and Knots Landing. Her first book as a romance novelist, Riverside Drive, was published in 1988. Her other books include West End, Benedict Canyon, Any Given Moment, Jury Duty, Just for the Summer, Talk, and Expose. Definitely not as good as her other books. This was hard to read as it was too busy and difficult to keep up with the story line.
