Wilcox gives a chronological history of his investigation of the Shroud of Turin. The 2010 edition includes has been edited to include the STURP investigation, the Carbon 14 testing and the resulting fiasco and the Invisible Weave discovery by Sue Benford and J Marino.

This is another book that sindonologists, both professional and amateur should have in their library.

Okay Book, Buy it if you have an interest in the Blue's, Captain Voris or Navair

Interesting read on one of the seminal figures of Naval Aviation. I found the book a bit "slow" with it's start, but well worth the read. (Perhaps I'm used to the Naval Institute style of editing?)
While not minimizing the one lasting contribution seen by the public by Captain Voris to the US Navy of the Blue Angels, I found his operational history and post naval career to be much more interesting from the perspective of the impact he had on Naval Aviation itself. Those chapters were covered well by Mr. Wilcox.
If you're looking for an early history of the Blue's, this is undoubtedly one of the best books available. More importantly, reading the anecdotes of the people who contributed to the book, you'll get the story of the man and how deeply he influenced the aviation leadership of the US Navy at least through the mid-'80's.
