Edmund White, novelist, essayist, pioneer in gay fiction writing and chronicler of gay life in the late 20th century will be at Malaprop’s Bookstore/Cafe in downtown Asheville on Monday, May 20th at 7 p.m. Mr. White will read from his work, answer questions from the audience and sign books. Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in Biography/Autobiography and numerous other awards, Vladimir Nabokov cited White as his favorite novelist.
