I read and really enjoyed the first two books by Collette West (Game Changer and Game On) so I snatched this one up as soon as it was released. One thing that sets West’s romances apart is the fact that she also knows a lot about the sports her characters are playing, which adds depth to the stories and makes them that much more realistic!

The budding romance between Scott and Carrie had me hooked from literally their first encounter. I love stories about alpha males with a soft side (the more hidden the better) and this book has that and more. Will Carrie be able to break through Scott’s tough guy façade? Will she see past the bad boy image and let herself fall in love? Those are some of the questions raised and getting to the answers made it impossible for me to put this book down!

If you enjoy romances with realistic characters, life-like situations and very well-described scenes then you have to get this book!
