I bought this with the knowledge that it was published in 1994, so I am reviewing that within the context of the time. It's a pretty good guide book for tourists as it discusses the central California coast from Santa Cruz to Santa Barbara. It includes recommendations on hotels, restaurants, wineries, and attractions. The book generally follows a format of describing the region from north to south, but within the individual sections it then shifts to alphabetical order, which I found annoying. I was really hoping for more information on the natural environment and this gave that subject scant attention.… (lisätietoja)
